Modular construction

The solar trailer is built in modules. Each module contains 16 solar panels which are mounted on a stand, where 8 pieces can be unfolded to each side. In the folded state on the trailer constitutes the solar panels a width of 1.7 meters in total.

The solution is scalable with the addition of additional modules, so that solar energy units are constructed with 32 , 48 and 64 solar panels. Water purification can be added to the versions with 32, 48 and 64 panels.

The modules can remain mounted on the trailer or be placed on a level surface. Plants that must be placed on the ground are equipped with fork pockets so that they can be lifted from the trailer and transported by truck.

The Folding Mechanism

Unfolding the panels is carried out by 2 people in the following way: Wire winches are loosened and person no. 2 person helps the solar panel to lie down to 20 degrees. This is repeated until all 8 have been laid down using the same procedure on the opposite side. Manual wire winch can be replaced by a remote-controlled version if there is a desire to make unfolding fully automatic. Solar panels will stand at 20 degrees when unfolded. When both sides are unfolded, the width is 19.3 metres. Assembling solar panels is done by wire winches pulling solar panels up to a vertical position, with the outermost ones rising first, and then in sequence until all are raised. This part of the work can be done by one person.
